AWS provider support

Amazon Web Services joins the provider roster, starting with European regions. Adds S3-compatible storage, RDS, and EKS integration to the DigitalFrontier Core deployment model.

computenetworking

AWS is the world's largest cloud provider, offering the broadest service catalog, the deepest ecosystem of managed services, and enterprise-grade SLAs. DigitalFrontier Core adds AWS as a first-class deployment target, starting with European regions (eu-west-1, eu-central-1).

The integration covers EC2-backed compute for container workloads, S3-compatible object storage, RDS-backed managed databases, and EKS for Kubernetes-native deployments. Workloads can be co-deployed across AWS and GCP (or the DigitalFrontier Edge and Akash) within a single configuration, enabling cross-cloud redundancy and cost arbitrage.

We are progressively expanding regional coverage across all providers to achieve full global coverage — every major market, every infrastructure tier.

Forward-looking: roadmap items describe work in progress or planned. Dates are estimates, not commitments, and scope may change as we learn.
